well I bought a crib set including a bumper but then my mother in law said new studies say that crib bumpers cause sudden infant death syndrome. she got worried so I'm sending it back. but it is up to you what you want to do.

that's what I've heard, i worry about the baby getting stuck in the rails though. everything's dangerous now lol

I use them, my daughter likes to look at the colors, it's always what you feel comfortable with, I never put my daughter in it when she's super awake, and I always check on her. But again it's up to you, all mommies feel differently about things and are more comfortable with something's.

I like the idea of the bumpers! I mean honestly what doesn't cause SIDS anymore? (not to sound harsh) but I feel like every choice I make now it could cause sids
