Had my first actual prenatal appt yesterday at 12weeks + 2. I was trying to use only a midwife and birth at home but that seems to be out the window. I've gotten in with a new practice who has midwives on staff and the staff are all truly sweet and comforting. Not what I'm used to when dealing with the medical community. But... The midwife I saw yesterday said birth at home would not be a good idea and that they are in fact considering me a high risk pregnancy bc of my hyperemisis and because during my son's birth I had excessive bleeding that was hard to stop, relating to the placenta. All I really want at this point is to stop puking!! And they gave me new meds to try so here's hoping.

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?

so I want to have an at home birth so bad! my last baby was born vaginally with no complications, so I wanna tty it at home this time. the thing is, they don't do that around here. I wanna have a midwife present in case something goes wrong and I wanna know when and if I need to go to a hospital. now.. I live literally 1 min away from one. is it a bad idea to try it on my own? keep check of my own vitals, ect. ?

I have a TMI question. I had my son 7 weeks ago. My fiance and I had sex at 3 weeks post partum. I had a c-section so the bleeding stopped at 2 weeks. We have never used birth control and the pull out method has worked for us. I've been having weird discharge and I just want to know if anyone else had this and what was the outcome. Pregnancy or period starting back up? Pictures are in comments.
