I was breastfeeding and I had to start formula.. I would of had to get up every hour to two hours to feed and I didn't have a chnace in between to eat and feed myself and drink enough, so she wasnt getting completely satified, and she was not happy. I still feed guilty about it, but for her healthy and benifit I know it's best, but I feel like a failure, regardless of what anyone says, it hurts. I don't have anyone who can understand how it feels, and think it's a simple issue, but it's more than just how to feed, it's way more than that. (She was a small baby so she doesn't have as much wiggle room with her weight, so with her losing after birth, I'm having to double up her feeding, and if I pumped I had to feed that when she fed on the breast too to double up. I wanted to explain that.) Sorry for the complaining too, I think this place is the only one that can understand sometimes.

I know how your feeling that's the reason I didn't want to breast feed because I new I wasn't going to have time , but I'm only pumping . It's going great for me I hope your doing great and manage to keep up even though your not breast feeding hope you do good !

@fanny217 thank you. She seems a lot happier with the formula and that's what's helping me be okay with it.

Don't feel bad for expressing yourself! That is stressful! Im sure you are a great mommy and the fact that you're doing everything you can to make sure she is okay speaks volumes! Breast feeding or not! ❤️

I know how that feels. I had my son at 31 weeks to I had to pump all the time and I wasn't making a lot. Eventually he was requiring more than I was making and I had to stop. I did feel bad, but at least he got it the first month of his life. 👍
