We are in Cheshire. No no no def no more after the twins, really we only ever hoped for 2 so had we had twins first time round that would have been it but because we had Alfie we decided to try for a sibling and ended up with 2 siblings for him lol. What about you?? Anymore after this one??xx

Yeah its good ro talk to another mum to be whos going through the same thing im from south east london how about you? Thats nice to have the same donor at least the kids will look alike and you know that donnor with your dna makes cute kids :) lol must be abit scary not seeing them though and could have a really nose or something lol i would love it if my boys looked like me they both did as babies but they are both just like their dads my oldest is slightly like me but my yongest is his dads mini me even got his dads horrid feet poor boy lol yeah i dont bother with the news feed either, do you think you would have any more after the twins?x

Yeah your the only person i speak to on her, its nice to share the journey together though. I know what you mean, we have been lucky in a way that we could use the same sperm donor as we used for Alfie but no doubt none of them will even look the same. Because we dont see pictures of the donor my fear when i was pregnant was what if they baby doesnt look like me but he is the spitting image poor thing lol. Omg scan pic would be cool to see, i will let you know as soon as i have a scan date hun cant blinking wait. So where abouts is it ur from then?? I get sick of going on the news feed to see a load of foreign posts. Just keep yourself busy in the morning hun and time will fly past. I got a week to wait until midwife but my appt with her is at 9am so nice & early.x

Lol if i was you i wouldnt encourage football it drives me CRAZY lol its all my oldest talks about he even watches sky sports news when theres no matches on to see whats going on, its true kids are just mean for no reason all we can do as parents is bring them up strong and confidant to be proud of whi they are and where they come from ect so that it dont bother them then the bullies will move on, it is a joke that now days people are so small minded, my oldest i had him at 18 so i was very young and me and his daddidnt work out and split when he was 2, almost 5yrs ago i met my now partner who is my younges dad but when i say they have difderent dads i still get funny looks but i dont think theres anything wrong with it, he was the 1st man i let meet my son and that was after 8months of being together and knowing he was good enough lol and they get on great, i didnt just go straight out and get with another guy and get pregnant it was 9 yrs later coz i wanted to make sure it was right this time but alot of people dont see it like that. I know i cant wait :) i just wanna sleep till tomorrow and wake up and go lol its not till 2:30 so thw morning probably gonna go slow, yeah fingers crossed they give you your date for the scan, i will post a pic of my scan pic for you to see, you know your the only person i talk too on here lol

Lol i know what you mean about children getting teased for anything and everything and sometimes the kids doing it dont even have a reason do they. This is the thing like you say because your son has different colour skin to you kids dont understand how its possible for you to be his mum do just bully/pick on him. Well we have had the football on but neither of us are crazy about it. We have had it on to try and encourage Alfie really as with neither of us being into football he kind of misses out. 24hrs to go!!!! I am excited just to have a midwife appt next week but in the knowing that my scan will only be another week after that. Some people have a massive hang up on same sex parents, its like we have 2 heads or will poison a childs mind in some way, this is the year 2014 now people need to get with the programme lol.

I think it is so much more common now then it was when i was growing up, but they might get a hard time from some kids but so could they if they wear glasses or have ginger hair ect kids will always tease but aslong as you bring them up to be strong and pround it wont affect them because they will just brush it off, by boys are mixed race and my oldest use to get bullied because he is very dark and looks black people use to tell him i wasnt his mum ect but he never let it bother him, and your right when you see they way sime children are living its heart breaking, my partners cousin is a foster carer and she had a lil boy for a yr and then he got addoptied by a same sex male couple and she had so many people telling her it was wrong ect but the couple are so lovely and care so much about him they still bring him to our family parties so we can all see him and hes as happy as anything and doing really and been with them 3yrs now and to me i see him happy and thats all that matters nothing else is important, well im watching it but not out of choice lol my oldest and my other half are football crazy how about you? Omg i know im SOOOOOOO. Excited cant wait and coz we had few probs in the start its so nice to have reached the 12 week stage :) x

Erm to be honest no we dont find it hard having kids as a sane sex couple although Andrea does think they will have a hard time at school etc, but like i said to her its probably more common than you actually think.
Exactly we will probably provide our children with more love than alot of other families, and your right some people are really small minded indeed. So are you watching the football or is it not ur thing?? Only 3 days until ur scan eekkk.x

I know i was bigger then her with just one lol thats one of the scary things about twins they tend to be very small born, yeah i watch the follow ups too lol can i ask u something? Can tell me to mind my own i will understand lol do you find it hatd being a same sex couple having kids? As in the way people may treat you? Me personally i just believe as long as a child has a good loving family it dont matter about same sex parents/ singel parents/ race/age ect but some people are very small minded x

Cant believe how small that woman was that had the twins on OBEM this week, tiny weights at only 4lb something each. There is twins on next weeks too with a same sex couple.
I love that programme never missed an episode, love the what happened next ones too where they catch up with them. Blimey 12wks tomorrow for you yippee, i have to wait until 24th lol.x

I feel like the weeks have been going so slow too :( but i will finally be 12weeks romorrow :) yeah i love that program, ive been watching a show on home&health; call baby story (well its on at 4am so i recorded it lol) i get so addictied to baby programs when im pregnant lol x

My booking appointment is 24th June. Seems forever away though. Yep mothers instinct, make sure kids are ok and have what they need first lol.

Well rang the midwife number this morning and they said once i have seen the midwife she will work out how many weeks i am, although i already know and then arrange a scan as apparently it can be from 12wks to 13wks 6 days so definately soon. Got totally burnt yesterday as walked into town with Alfie not thinking how hot the sun would be. Put cream on him but not me 😓x

Yeah i would give them a call if i was you hun and find out whats going on, i was surprised i got all my on time coz with my lil one i had a scan at 13weeks and my booking at 17 weeks because they told me they had a back log, i think some times if you pester them they get things sorted quicker for you, and they might already have a date for you but just havent sent the letter yet x

I know i dont know whether to give them a call & just ask if i will get a scan appointment after i have seen the midwife as had my booking appointment alot earlier on last time so had 12wk scan at 12wks.x

Aww bless him, not good i thought you might of had it now as i got my scan date letter about a week after i got my booking date letter, im not enjoying this heat either making very restless at nights.

I know Alfie does sleep in the day still but if i think i will get my head down he will prob have 20mins. If i leave it and dont decide to try and sleep he will have 2hrs.
You will have to let me know how ur scan goes. No i still dont have a date for mine and dont reckon i will get one until i have seen the midwife either which is frustrating. This weather isnt helping things, its so stuffy at work today.x

I feel as if i could just sleep all day and night my lil one use to have afternoon naps but he stopped about 2months ago and now r the times i wish he still was at least then i could have a lil nap with him lol, yeah i cant wait its in tuesday i just wanna see every thing is ok and baby is doing well 😊 have you got your date for a scan yet?x

I know exactly what you mean about being tired and running round after a little one hun, it makes a big difference doesnt it. Yeah worry already and only into the first trimester hey. I just constantly feel tired even though Alfie has just started sleeping through so we are getting good sleep in it just doesnt seem enough. Not long until your scan now. Are you excited??xx

Its crazy how we are so early in yet worry about the birth already ay lol this is the 1st time i been like this though because of what happened last time, and with you its probably because you are having twins but im sure as you get further along it will be more clear to you as what you are comfortable doing, im finding this pregnancy hard already though and can only put it down to having a active 2yr old to look after iam so tired all of the time and just feel like im drained but i guess with my other 2 there was a 9yr age gap so it wasnt so hard as my son was more independant, do you feel like this too as you have a young one? X

Yeah we will def be finding out the sex if possible as will make buying things so much easier, we didnt find out with Alfie and got sick of seeing him in whites, creams etc lol. Ooohh sounds like you had an awful time of it hun last time, dont blame you for going down the section route this time. I just feel i have so much to consider this time with the pregnancy and labour. Maybe i will feel better after my midwife appt in couple weeks as now i feel a little down amd confused if i am honest and i wasnt like this with Alfie.xx

Oh no it was like that with my 2nd son i didnt even have my booking untill i was 17 weeks, i thinking of asking for a section with this one, im not a big fan of them but my last one torn 3/4th degree and it was really bad recovery from that and if i tore again this time the risk of long term damage are higher so it has kind of scared me about labour this time and ive never been scared before and like you i had really quick labours with both my 2nd i even had a planned home birth but this time i think im more for a section, yeah we want to find out easier to plan if you know lol how about you do you want to find out? x

No not got a date for my scan yet, couldnt even get in to see the midwife until i am bang on 12wks so hopefully i will get a scan date pretty quickly after that, especially with it being twins. Ooohh a sober christmasfor you then!!! I am hoping i will get more info as to a proper due date from them midwife as the clinic gave me a due date based on 40wks but twins never go that far. So many choicesto make to as in do i elect for a section then we can sort childcare for our son, but then there is the recovery time and no lifting etc. plus i had a very quick labour and birth with our little boy!! Wish things were simple lol. So are you going to find out the sex at your 20wk scan??x

Yeah defo cost alot more having twins but like you say just start buying things when you see them on offer lol im due in dec 28th i had a scan at 7 weeks too as i had a little bleeding but fingers crossed all seems ok now but i cant wait to get to that safer stage coz i havent been able to stop worrying, i got my 12week scan on the 17th cant wait 😀 have you got a date for yours yet?x

Yeah looking forward to it but also thinking about the double expense!!! I guess we will have to start stocking up on nappies & milk etc but when we are alot further down the line. Looking forward to my 12wk scan although with it being IVF we have already had a 6 & 8 week scan so seen babies heartbeats already which was nice. So when are you due then hun?x

Aww thats lovely though i know it will be hard work (twins) but it is a lovely thing, ready made best friends lol, i have 2 boys already age 12 and almost 3 x

No we have a little boy 18mths old via IVF ( same sex couple ) so the twins will be babies number 2+3, also by IVF. Bit shocked that both took so alot to get our head around.x
