My daughter is 13 months it's our first night trying to sleep train her any advice?

Any one have any suggestions on getting my daugter to fall asleep on her own in her own bed?

So one of my relatives at a baby shower for my cousin told me a trick some of you might like and that's if your child has a habit of peeing or pooping threw their diaper at night or nap time under the sheet on the mattress put a puppy pad down to protect the mattress from stains I don't know myself but she said it worked amazingly.
