There's this thing called the "Oath of allegiance." Several different groups are required to take this oath. There's a part of it, "support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC;..."

When Pearl Harbor was attacked, the US retaliated against Japan. When the Twin Towers fell on 9/11, we went to war with Afghanistan... Foreign enemies, right? Yeah. That's why I hate to hear about massacres, mass shootings, on US soil. Our "domestic enemies," right? I would say so. They threaten our laws, yet, smh, we fail, and refuse, to defend our land.

The founding fathers absolutely had their faults, but I bet they die again every day due to the state of the US. At least, in the grand scheme of things, they kept the best interest of the country in mind. Hopefully, one day, we'll get to the point where we seek to protect the country from its domestic enemies. I hope we don't get to the point where we stop defending the country from foreign enemies.

Don't mind me, I'm just upset about many things going on in this great nation.
