I tried to make this cheesy vegetable dish of my grandma’s that’s really good, but it somehow ended up tasting like a salt bomb. 🙈 I dont even know how. I followed the recipe as it was written. My dad said my grandma was probably sipping on too much of the sherry when she wrote it out. 🤣

My mom bought a cook from frozen turkey and the giblet bag was frozen to the bottom so she decided to use a dinner knife to pry it off, dinner knife slipped and cut threw her finger tendons and all to the bone. She required multiple surgeries afterwards and we didn’t eat turkey that year 😂

My mom was trying to rotate the bird. Somehow it slipped, went sliding across our 6ft long kitchen island and PLOP onto the floor. Wasn’t fun to clean up that grease splatter!
