How was your toddler’s settling in period at nursery? Our first week was perfect, this week my boy is crying too much when he sees the building of the nursery and falls asleep in there 10 minutes after I take him there. Our session is 12:30-3:30PM and it’s been 3 months he hasn’t napped on time or napped very late and then his bedtime was messed up. It’s weird he naps so early in the nursery

My sons been in nursery since September, we still have tears when I drop him off and he only has to see the building and it sets him off. Once he’s in he settles and enjoys the rest of the day, when I pick him up at the end of the day he’s all smiles and in a really good mood. Hope your little boy settles soon xx

I think it's more to do with a development phase rather than nursery itself. Both my boys around that age were nightmares at bedtime , always wanted to be in bed with me and became "clingy". Hopefully soon things will settle back down for you xx

That's very normal. My daughter was the same. First week it was great and after it was down the hill. They realise that your leaving them.
It takes time for them to get use to it but the will eventually.
Maybe ask the nursery if they could delay his nap time ? So it suits him.

Did you persevere? Or did you have a break from going to nursery? Did you go 5 days a week?
