@two.tiny.texans, so i lived in New York and grew up in a Jewish community too but also tons of
Italians lived around me too , and orthodox isn’t so simple because you have orthodox and ultra and also chasidim which is completely different , i guess I’m in between orthodox and ultra , there isn’t much conservative or reform in New York but alot in Florida which i find ! Orthodox and ultra It’s pretty strict when it comes to keeping what the laws and customs are , but more peaceful and less in your face then the chasidim community we have plenty of non Jews living among us in the blocks and we have zero issues , i find it’s less like that in Brooklyn , which is really a shame because it causes so much hate and anti semetism because some communities tend to live in a bubble and them or their kids don’t know how to act around non religious or non Jewish people and those people get the wrong impression and it tend to lead to anti semetism , it’s sad . And really against what we believe in regards to how to act around gentiles ( we are supposed to respect gentiles more then jews and go out of our way to be kinder as well) they just don’t know that because they literally live in a bubble ( that’s super ultra or most chassidim not al)
@itsamemario oh wow! That is complicated, but I guess no more than Christianity and having Baptists, Methodists, Church of Christ, Pentacostals, etc etc etc....Im just more familiar with that because I've grown up around it.
