My 2 year old has a soft spot on his tooth it’s not a cavity yet... is it normal for me to feel like a failure as a parent right now? It’s really bothering me
If it wasn't for this reason, surely there would be another, so unless you really are a bad mom lift your chin up and hug your baby. Love him and do your best for him daily then call the pediatric dentist and get him an appointment. Once you have done that, hug yourself, and don't be so hard on yourself. Big hugs sent your way!!! It's really ok!!!

I feel this. You're not a bad mom because his baby teeth are messing up they're not permanent teeth yet so it's ok. My son had work done. I felt like a bad mom as if I could do more or differently. Don't beat yourself up too hard. Although I know you will because I still do but for now just set him an appointment up and get it fixed.
