For those whose have toddlers that eat but dont gain or dont like to eat... have you gave them pediasure? Is it effective in helping child gain? Is it worth the price. My son is going to be 2 in 2 1/2 more months and has been the same weight since he turned one. He has stayed 25 pounds from 12 months to 21 months. Idk if it's because he started walking at 12 months so hes more active now or what but I dont want people thinking I'm neglecting him being hes not gaining.
My daughter was like that preemie at birth she was so small but she ate like crazy and she eventually grew out of that and now she’s bigger then me at 14 😂
Lol yeah it worries me because I he will alot at some days but mostly not wanna eat anything except chips lol I'm not giving you chips and you havent eaten real food. Part of me thinks his mouth is hurting from getting teeth in another part of me says he just doesnt like what meals we having today maybe mix of both but I got some pediasure for times that he wont eat what I made and was just wanting to know others experiences.
My daughter is 2 and shes 22 lbs also shes very skinny i give her some shakes ... some kids are just made skinny
What has his pediatrician said? Are they worried?
He hasn't had another doctors appointment yet for doctor to say anything. His next one is when he turns 2.
@thatmama, I’d wait until his doctors appointment. My son is skinny and tall and VERY active. I’ve heard mixed reviews on pedisure and kids getting “addicted” to them because of the sugar content. Some kids are built skinny. As long as he’s eating in general, you’ll just have to get creative.
My twins are 2 and they only weigh 22lbs I give them pediasure once a day and a protein shake once a day per their doctor since they are vegetarians
Good. Lol I was thinking he was behind in weight being he was that when he turned one. I'm thinking it's a stage where sometime he just doesnt want to eat. I think partly because these canines are taking FOREVER to come in and they hurting him and also I dont think he always likes the meals I make so I got some pediasure for that and wanted to know others experiences before giving it to him.
@thatmama meant got some pediasure for the times he doesnt want to eat real food.
Bad mommy. :(
I have a very active engergetic 20 month old. He is extremly fast when he wants to be. He has also reached the point where shopping carts, 'baby' wearing or being carried is the enemy and a battle I dont want to fight somedays.

I have a question my son is 2 months old and is 12 pounds he was 8 pounds when he was born He is on eating 6 oz every 3 31/2 hour at night he goes 8 hours with out eating does anyone else baby eat this much

Well i dont no about you but july seems to have taken ages to come round! who else is having their baby this month? I've only got 12 more days if he/she comes on time! 😆😍😙💛👶
So what is the earliest you've heard a doctor suggest baby food. Waylon gained 4lbs in a month and he wanted me to start giving him bites of baby food through out the day along with 4oz of water. I had to start mixing my breastmilk with formula bc he has reflux. And having the bottle made him want to eat faster and more. He was eating 6oz bottles every 3 hours. And apperently it made him gain too much too fast. But I feel REEEEAAAALLLLLY off with the idea of giving him baby food. What do you all...
its really depressing when your SO tells you ur going gain all this weight blah blah all u do is eat blah blah. when in all reality he eats more than i do wtf. im 8 months i gained 35lbs so far. like i cant help that i get fucking hungry more than i did before. i have a human being growing inside me everyday. like wtf. 😢💔
My daughter just hit 26lbs. She’s always been small. Dr has no concern. But DR said we could pediasure since I was concerned still. My daughter wouldn’t drink it. I got samples from the Dr.
