This may seem like a stupid question but my baby is 4 days old. This is the first time formula feeding from the start so I’m a little new to all this. How many bowel movements should I be expecting from my baby? Last night he was crying like he was in pain and he only had 1 bowel movement yesterday and that was at 7:30 yesterday morning. Fast forward to last night and every time he would finally fall asleep I would lay him down and he would start screaming like he was hurting and wake up. So I got the thermometer and helped him go to the bathroom. He pooped ALOT 😳 it was yellow and looked normal. Not too firm but so much poop. He’s taking reg enfamil but I have a can of gentlease. Should I try him with that and see if it helps?

At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
