My son has super curly hair and I refuse to cut it until he asks, what's a good product that will help it not get frizzy?
Cantu products work wonders in my daughters hair which looks identical to his!
You’re welcome! Hope you find something that works for him. I’m not a fan of Shea moisture shampoo or conditioner either, but their leave in curl custard is decent.
I like the Maui moisture agave nectar hair mask. You can use it as a styling product also and its not heavy.
I would do a light leave in conditioner-Garnier and she’s moisture make decent ones for cheap and redken and devacurl (among others) have good ones that are pricier. One of the best ways to not frizz is to only use a wide tooth comb on the curls and only when they’re wet. Never use a brush and don’t comb it dry. Curly hair breaks easier (causing the frizz) and using a brush will make it 100 times worse. Wash it only once or twice a week and use a spray bottle with a mixture of water and leave in conditioner on the in between days and finger comb the curls back into place.
@pookiedoo, yeah I haven’t seen you around in awhile just wondering how you and the kiddos are doing
@dontspankme, I’ve been around. I just stay out of the feed for the most part. We’re doing well! Getting ready to celebrate the boys 8th birthday this weekend! How are you and yours doing?!
I second the Cantu kids custard & leave in conditioner.
