I'm 29 years old and never used a tampon.. I know this is kind of embarrassing but how does it work? I'm tired of using pads they are so bulky!🙈🤣
Those hurt so bad ...if she’s never used a tampon idk how this would ever fit I’ve had three kids and that shit would never go in 🤣
@kush_queen420 hmmm I guess everyone's different! My sister also swears that she'd never be able to fit one. They do fit, you just have to get over yourself and get it in there lol I find tampons more repulsive because of their absorbency and unnatural shape 🤔
I’ve never used one either. I’m too scared. I’ve heard they can get lost and I heard a few stories of girls dying from them
Noo your not missing out I actually stopped using tampons five years ago because of all the chemicals they put in them and the possible side effects
But if your going to do it there not hard see said above comments
It helps if you put one leg up on the toilet and just do it like it says on the box and you might have to do it a couple times to have it feel comfortable but then again some just can’t
Sometimes it’s easy when starting to stand facing the toilet put one foot on the toilet. With your middle finger and thumb hold the tampon and insert till your fingers hit your skin. Then press the back so it goes all the way in. You shouldn’t feel it inside you.
I wouldn’t leave it in longer than 6 hours. But 8 is usually the maximum. Make sure you read up on toxic shock syndrome. It’s rare but you do want to be informed.
Do yourself a favor and go straight to using a menstrual cup/ diva cup. It's the same concept except less mess and risk of tss. Tampons are more painful because they are so drying and super uncomfortable, it's a long list of why I would never use a tampon again...
