Need some advice please as cant get hold of midwife till tomorrow and didn't know if it was extreme enough to contact the hospital.

Lately after eating (not all the time but more and more frequently) I end up feeling really sick and my hands start shaking and I feel really lightheaded and dizzy. It happens literally within a few minutes of eating and dont know what it means? Any help would be greatly appreciated, first pregnancy so dont know what is considered "normal" or not x

@alejandrasanch2410 @emmabump13 @jamie123 @erincharlieconor thank you so much for your advice everyone I'm gonna keep an eye on it as it seems to be calming down a bit now I've drank some water. But think I will ring midwife tomorrow just to make her aware and see what she says x

@erincharlieconor I have had issues a little bit with my blood pressure going up and down so that would make sence! X

@amyloux, perhaps eat half slowly then have a glass of water and then eat the rest xx

This happened to me especially after high sugar content or spice. I never spoke to anyone about it so if you are worried no harm calling someone xx

It's definitely not the norm. It will probably keep for the midwife but if you feel it's more urgent then contact your doctor.
Never feel like you are wasting their time! X

@amyloux, If your really concerned about it you could always call the labour ward just for advise hun. They will be happy to advise you. I’ve had a lot of dizzy/lightheadedness this pregnancy but eating normally makes me feel better. It could just be a build up of hormones ask if your worried tho.x
