Gated doesn't mean fortress of solitude that only those with an address beyond the gates are allowed or can get in. I work in the new construction arena and go in and out of gated communities EVERY day with NO problems to get lighting take offs. No one stops me when pulling in, the gate doesn't keep us from getting in. I'm in my regular everyday vehicle too, not a labeled company car. The gates and code you type in are meant to make those that live there feel safe but they don't keep out ANYONE and EVERYONE that doesn't live there.

@bmarie727, I 100%, TOTALLY agree it seems sketchy FOR SURE girl. I'm just sayin they probably just walked right in like no big deal. People are crazy! Like... WHO goes door to door??? Stand in the gas station/Walmart parking lot like everyone else!

@bmarie727, Hey I'm just goin in and out, INVITED, just doin my job. When people build new houses, I go out and take measurements of vanities, ceiling heights, list where everything is wired so when the homeowner comes in to select lighting and appliances I know what they need, where they need it, what size they need and how many of everything they need. I'm not just roamin neighborhoods, buggin people. I was JUST tryin to say that it probably wasn't very difficult for them to get into your gated community. Half the time I can press 1234 or 0000 and get right in. I just didn't think it was something to be so shocked over that's all.
