Married for almost 13 years, joint checking account, joint savings account.

My husband and I have a joint account. 🤷‍♀️

We have a joint account for bills and our own personal accounts for whatever. We are a family unit, but we are still individual people with separate tastes, likes, etc. Plus, how do you buy something as a surprise for the other if you share an account??

To each their own. DH and I have our own accounts but also have an allotment that goes to a joint account and we pay all our bills with it. Works for us.
