Omg! How do you handle that? I get frustrated, my patience ends up wearing thin at times.. 😓 I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who struggles because it makes me feel so shitty
@cguexo, it’s been rough. Sometimes I just force food into her mouth and make her eat it, which I know isn’t a good thing but sometimes she would literally eat zero bites if I didn’t put the food into her mouth. I figured it’s a control issue and she wants to make her own decisions but since she’s underweight I have no choice but to put food in her mouth 😩
Ive made her things she’s asked for an she won’t eat it.. I’ll put it in front of her mouth to see if she’ll bite and she just says yuck. It’s a hit or miss but most times a miss lol
I ask myself all the time how my son is alive because he doesn't eat very well some days 🤣
@cguexo the only time I can get my son to eat is snacks. If I refuse and make him eat his food he eats like crap but smashes snack foods.
Because she’s 2.5 ! My son goes through seasons of eating well, and not . Don’t beat yourself up, you’re doing the best you can.
My daughter stopped eating at 18 months and then it finally improved around age 4 😩 It’s been a long long battle and I don’t know how she survives on such little food. She’s 42” tall and only 35 lbs. I know this sounds bad but I actually give her dessert almost every night because she’ll eat more dinner if she gets dessert plus she needs the high calories from the sweets. Usually ice cream.
