Yesterday I completely filled 12 Ultra tampons, plus 3 overnight pads... please just kill me before the bloodloss does. According to dr. Google you're supposed to lose about 35ml of blood throughout your entire period... I've lost at least 5 times that in just the first day alone. I dont know what to do tbh, I can't miss work just for a period, but I'm in excruciating pain and exhausted and still actively bleeding like this.

I would definitely call your doctor. I did see your other posts saying you hadn't had a period in quite some time though and that they also started metformin. You may just be having an exceptionally heavy flow to expel everything that's been built up over time. When my cycles were really irregular due to PCOS I would only get a period between 2-5 times a year but when they came it was like dying. Heating pad is my lifesaver. And from someone who has had terrible periods like this, it's acceptable to call out if you're able too. It isn't ridiculous at all.

I haven't, it didnt even occur to me yesterday. I just came straight home from work and went to bed.
