So sex still really hurts so it makes me not wanna do anything sexual at all but I can tell it’s starting to get to my boyfriend a bit. He tries to act like it doesn’t matter but I know it really does. What can I do to get back to normal ?

Might be TMI but maybe try and change positions? When me and hubs first did it after I had my LO it was sooo painful but I tried a different way and it was so much better

It'll take time. There's nothing you can do really. Just wait it out and have patience. C sections hurt more and take time a while to heal till you feel right again

@brittanyzeigler21 a lot of times a csection actually makes it feel worse... I had a csection with my first and took a while before I could have sex regularly again, a lot longer than 2 months. With my 2nd I had a normal vaginal birth but that hurt for a while too because of the tearing and it actually still hurts if I don't have enough lube. Go to the store and buy lubricant and be generous with it... also if sex is still a little uncomfortable, there's always oral. Maybe resort to that for a bit, go down on each other more often until you feel more comfortable

Use lots of lube and go really slow. Itll start feeling normal soon enough. I would just have a conversation with him to make sure he knows he needs to be nice and slow

As long as you have healed properly then live and going very very slow the first few times might help. It still hurt for me at 8 weeks postpartum and it took several tries and lots of lubricant before we got back to normal.

Okay maybe I’m not lubricated enough. He can’t even get in past the top without it hurting so bad 😒
