It depends on the doctor. I was induced with my first only after I went past my due date. I wasn’t dilated or anything.

Some doctors will if you’re over your due date. But don’t let them! My doctor wanted to induce me when I turned 40 weeks smh

@rileysmomma913, nope. My baby was still very high, and I was showing no signs of labor.

@rileysmomma913, I had to have a C-Section. I had a fibroid that wasn’t allowing her to drop which is why I didn’t let my doctor induce me. I would of had a difficult labor that ended up in a C-section anyways. If you don’t have anything wrong with your pregnancy, I’d recommend letting you body go into labor naturally. Being induced increases your chance of a C-section, your baby’s heart rate dropping, increased drugs into your baby.

@rileysmomma913 if they're able to stretch you at all they can try but they don't like to force it as it may cause some issues.

I was at a 0 with my first. Had her within 7hrs on her due date. Whether natural or help of medical ways you'll get there. Be patient. :)
