My oldest son was born with jaundice. He sat under the lights for 12 hours only coming out to eat. When we could finally go home they told me to keep him in as much sunlight as possible for the next week
I agree with @aengs2, my son had jaundice for abit, his doctor just asked us to do frequent feedings to push bowel movements bc he wasn’t going at all. And literally once he pooped his levels dropped a lot and he was good
Breastfeeding WITH formula supplement (the formula helps their liver to fight it), sunlight and if it is too bad then photo therapy with the blue lights.
Breastfeeding sunlight and in worst-case is the blue light and time also helps for babies.
Who has jaundice? If you do, you need to go to the hospital.
For a baby, breastfeeding and those special lights.
We haven’t done the photo thing and he is not really feeding much
