My baby already has a diaper rash 😒 I feel REALLY BAD...I could cry seriously. I dont know what to do but keep diaper rash cream and vasoline on her butt. She is only 4days old and butt is raw from do doing every hr.....why is the cause? Is that normal so often ?
Mommas I need advice. Kynton gets a super bad rash when he poops. From one poop and maybe 45 seconds of him being in that diaper turns his butt bright red and blisters. We only use Huggies and Pampers diapers. Could it be disposables that do this? The gel stuff mixing with his poop that creates the rash?? And should I try a few cloths to see if it helps? Or what do I do. He poops at least 2 times if not sometimes more a day. And it puts him in agonising pain. His Drs said don't worry but his Booty is always red, bleeding and hurts him.

Ladies what is the best solution for diaper rash for little girls shes in pain from it I've tried diaper rash cream I've tried corn starch nothing is helping I've tried letting her air out frequent diaper changing nystatin cream .what else can I do !!

We went to the doctor today because he has had a really bad diaper rash that doesn't seem to be responding to anything. I just started Boudreaux's butt paste though so the pediatrician wants me to continue that along with making sure his butt gets washed with warm water every time he poops. I'm also making sure he gets air time without a diaper, right now he's doing tummy time with no diaper. Any other tips or tricks? A&D, aquaphor and Desitin didn't seem to work. The pediatrician doesn't think it's his diaper because it's only on his butt.

@sweet_pea1 yes..skin broken. Just called the ped's office. They are either gonna send in an antiobiotic or just wait to see her tomorrow am. I already had her 1wk appmt scheduled

I use the Walmart brand and they have been great. We use the butt paste, a wet paper towel to wipe, pat and dry, then put in the cream. If the skin is broken call your doc, they have antibiotic cream. Is the baby having a lot of diarrhea? Maybe it’s an allergy in the milk she’s drinking. Hugs

My daughter had that initially as well. It wasn't the diaper but because she had diarrhea. We just kept her aired out and used Aquaphor and it went away.

Luvs works for well for us, I remember parent's choice giving my oldest the worse diaper rash so we rarely use them... but different diapers can effect babies differently. Also, babies have very sensitive skin and her skin probably isn't used to the bacteria and whatnot in her poo so that could be a cause too

@robin080109, yeah it could be the diaper cuz my daughter would poop that much every hour as well wen she was born and she was perfectly fine

@godspromises2018 thks. Ive definitely have been on changing her often it may be the brand (luvs, so many from baby shower)...i have other brands Im gonna try

Try different brand of diapers and could because of the diapers I know my daughter was very sensitive to certain diapers
