When did you all start giving your baby's real milk. I'm a breast feeding mom is starting to give her a little bit every day. Still breast feeding as much as I normally do just a cup of milk once a day to slowly introduce it to her.

My daughter never took a bottle and had to go to a straw sippy cup as well cuz she wont use a regular sippy cup. Around 7-8m I started pumping a lot and she was so busy crawling around and skirting stuff that she liked the cup better then stopping and nursing. By 11m or so she was only nursing during the day for nap time and at night and drinking her BM from her cup. Started the cows milk on top of her BM at 11m and 12m I still pumped and gave her what ever I pumped in the morning and that was it. I hated pumping and it was time consuming and hard since she would take the time to run and get into everything while I was doing it. So now she just gets what she gets at night.
@lillyb I wish. She only drinks breast milk straight from the boob lol. I had to get her sippy cups with straws at 4 months because she hated bottles more then anything.
I started introducing around 11m. Just a cup a day on top of her BM. Now she mainly drinks cow milk and nurses once or twice a night
@tipsymermaid I'm only introducing it to her. I'm not completely giving her milk.
@noenahiza as long as I need to I'm going to breast feed her but wanted her to be able to tolerate milk and get used to drinking it. I started at 10 months giving her sips here and there and her happy baby yogurt has whole milk in it as well. Now she is almost 11 months so I've been giving her a cup a day in the morning or afternoon just so in case she has a reaction to it I'm aware of it but she has been doing good with it.
I think wic told me not to give it to her for at least a year. But I’d talk to her dr every munchkin is different ❤️💕
I started my son about around 11 months just a little bit to get him use to it but i would still give him breast milk
A few weeks before he turned one.
