Mine will be two next months, and is the same way. My first was saying 2-3 word phrases by 18 months. Sometimes they just take a little longer.

14 months her speech picked up. Saying new words everyday now.

Kids all go at there own pace. My daughter will be 2 in September all she says is mama and papa. 2-3 is when most kids start speaking sentences don't worry just yet mum

My daughter wasn't really speaking at 2. I contacted Early Intervention and it was the best thing I ever did for her. You don't need a doctor to refer you you can refer yourself
