@julyfourthbaby, i’ve been having symptoms but i’ve been spotting off & on since i got it & that hasn’t changed. but i didn’t start having symptoms until about a week ago 😩 so idk

@kartersmommyy yes i didnt even know I was pregnant becsuse I always felt pregnant bc of the BC but I went for a checkup and found out!

I have had mine since 6wks pp. I know what u mean about feeling pregnant that’s y they say u may not have a period. ur body know the only time u really don’t have a period is when ur pregnant so it like out them hormones. Also this is y ur body could stop have periods all together.

I love it some time when have to switch positions so we can’t feel it.

@kartersmommyy ive heard that iuds often shift. Especially with sex its common. If you feel odd in any way i dont see harm in going having everything checked

@kartersmommyy lol I feel that! That's how I was, I just recently got my nexplanon out for baby number 2. We were waiting til after my little ones 1st birthday.

@langwell615, that’s how i’m feeling! but that makes sense. i hope that’s the case, bc here recently i’ve been having pregnancy symptoms & though i’d love to have another baby, i don’t wanna have a baby w/ an iud in, even though i can take it out i just wouldn’t want any complications! plus my bf doesn’t want any more for at least a year lol

@kartersmommyy it's possible but my doctors told me that for the first 6-8 months or so you can have pregnancy symptoms because the bc fakes your body to pretend to be pregnant because it changes your hormones so you dont get pregnant. I was that way the first few months after getting the nexplanon implant, it was really trippy because I knew what being pregnant felt like and it was exactly the same way. It died down for me at the end of 3 months of having it in.

Had mine for 3 month now. No issues except my period duration varies. It was 5 the past couple periods it's now 7 😩😩😩😩 it's not heavy just annoying

@vvrobinson, i’ve had mine for 3 months now but i’ve just recently started having cramping & stuff especially during sex, it hurts. my biggest fear is it coming out of place. & i haven’t had a period on it just some spotting here & there but recently i’ve been extremely tired, nauseous, & sore boobs.. idk if i’m going to start a period or what since i haven’t had one yet, but i’m just scared for some reason it got outta place & i got pregnant.

Most iuds are about 98% effective. The only way you can get pregnant on an iud is if youre preganant already when you get it and dont know yet. Or if youre ovulating during the first week of having it. Most bc isnt effective until the second week of having it. I got pregnant 11 days on the bc. I miscarried shortly after missing my period time.
