Toilet training

Hi mummas! I'm in the middle of toilet training my 3 year old daughter. She's doing amazing at going when we are home, she takes herself off to the toilet and hasn't had any accidents but it's a different story when we go out. She refuses to go and will just wet herself. She was sitting on the toilet today at playgroup but wouldn't do a wee, she wet herself 3 times in the 2 hours we were there.

Since posting this she has had hardly any accidents and is now happy using public toilets, no accidents at playgroup today ?

something just clicked with her and she's doing so well ?

Thank you xx

My boys were overwhelmed/scared by the larger looking hole when out & about (without their toddler seat like at home).

We would "check for wees" before leaving home, then they needed to hold onto me if they sat on a 'big person' toilet.

What about bribery then? A small treat when out if she will go wee when you take her? Would prevent an accident, then lots of praise and encouragement and you can faze out the treats after she is consistently going

Yeah we have the toddler seat attachment for at home. I haven't noticed any cues for her needing to go, she just says "wee coming" and runs to the toilet. When we are out she won't tell me she needs to go like she does at home, she will just wee herself and come to me crying. I've also tried taking her and sitting her on it, every time I've done that she says she doesn't need to wee but 2 minutes later she wets herself.

I second going first. If I'm out usually both my kids deny needing to go but I make a trip anyway and just everyone has a turn on the toilet. They always go.

Have you tried taking her when you see the cues and going first to show her it's like at home?

My son was once freaked out by someone's blue toilet water. We were at their house for hours so I had to go first and show him it was okay each time lol

Do you also think she is just having fun and doesn't want to leave the group? I always remind DS3 that we will come back to the activity but first he has to go to the toilet.

Is it the same toilet?

By that, I mean does she use a potty or one of those special seats on top of the toilet at home, and then she's faced with a 'normal' seat when out?

Potty training help!!! Lola is 3, 4 in January and we are still no where near dry. I just don’t know what to do anymore. We’ve done the reward charts and all that other stuff but it’s just not working. She wears knickers all day and is constantly wet. She won’t even notice it’s happened and then just suddenly announces “I need to go change my knickers” She is quite happy to go for a poo and has never pooed herself. The other day when we went out I bought 5 changes of clothes and she went through 4 of them in the space of 3 hours. She will hold a wee and is adamant she doesn’t have to go until she is practically dancing and bent over trying to hold it in. I remind her constantly to go have a try and when she does wet herself I ask her why she didn’t go and she goes into hysterics. We’ve been doing it for over a year and a half now and I just don’t know what more I can do with her.

So My coworker does not get vaccinated for anything due to religious practices and she’s worried about our job making it mandatory since they discussed it earlier this week. It’s crazy how when vaccines even started or came about we were told it would be voluntary but now it’s mandatory and people need a verification card to go certain places. We even have certain states doing lottery drawings just to make people get it. people shouldn’t fear losing their jobs or having to go against their religious beliefs when we were told it was voluntary. I think this is wrong that companies are doing this.

Hello Ladies, I’m new to this app and I have a question.

Hello Ladies, I’m new to this app and I have a question. My daughter is potty trained well in the house, but she does have accidents at night and she doesn’t tell me when she has to go in public so she goes on herself. When we go out I have to put a pull up on her. Any suggestions for the night time accidents and going in public.
