green stools.. help

In breastfed infant? Ds is almost 2 months old. Got the past two weeks he's had green watery and explosive gas. It got better and started again. I took him to his ped and she said it was probably a small bug out my milk? He's EBF. Yesterday and today he's been fussy which is not like him at all. I have the wonder weeks app it says he's going through a leap. What could this be? Could it be my milk? I know I do have an overactive let down but I think it might be because I had been pumping a lot, trying to make a stash for emergency. Sorry if this is all over the place I need advice??

What mama-collie said.

& no formula isn't needed.

Pump, just not dairy cow style.

So how can I pump milk to make a stash without having this issue? Should I go to formula wherever he is left with dh?

Expressing milk immediately before nursing will take care of the imbalance and OAL.

Block feeding can also help. That where you only use one breast for four hours, regardless of how frequently baby feeds, then use the other breast for the next four.

I would hand express until my milk went from the thinner milk to the thicker milk or after I would let down, then I would put baby on and it cleared up his poop pretty quickly.

Does that go away? How can I help regulate it?

Foremilk imbalance. You may want to consider pumping for just five minutes before nursing. Especially if you have OAL. That's what I had to do with my first baby.

I thought it was a sign of too much foremilk.
