Birthdays (kinda long..)
So my birthday is this Wednesday. I absolutely HATE my birthday. I wish I would never have another one again. Practically every birthday I've had for the last 6-7 years have been the worst days of my life. Either my parents ruin it for me, my 'friends' do or my siblings do. Bottom line I dislike my bday very much. My boyfriend wants me to like my birthday and I'm trying for him but I just can't do it. I don't want to get excited about anything because I'm always let down. "Oh, you want that perfume? Nope. Sorry" it's always something like that. My siblings however.. Everyone tries to make their birthday special. I'm turning 17 on the 27th so you'd think they'd at least TRY to make it seem like they're happy but no. They always act like its a burden on them to do anything for me on my bday so I always try to ignore it. It's just another day to me. Is anyone else like this?

Yep, I'm the same way.
I don't really know if it's because I've been always disappointed on my birthdays and found out who cares about me and who's forced to care about me or is it because I'm lately against the day I was born.
Anyway, I keep my birthdays really simple and try to do something nice with my boyfriend. He cheers me up a lot that day ?
But in general, I try to give 0 importance to my birthday.

@Cha that would be great, but he's living with his mom and she hated me. So she never lets us do anything ?
Omg you poor thing! .-. I have no clue what I'd do! Hey what if you endured through your birthday and had him take you on a date when it's more convenient and count that as your birthday treat!
I feel same way. I'm born on valentines day so everywhere we go is super busy so I just have to stay home.
We were gonna do something like that but my bfs mom changed her mind about 5 minutes ago and isn't letting us do anything. She's coming over to my house with my bf and his brother so I have to spend my birthday with them.. I don't really like them either.. I'd rather just be with Ty.. But hey, could be worse right..
I feel bad for you that you don't ever enjoy your birthday. Maybe this time just go out with your bf and ignore everyone else. He should make it feel like it's your special day. It is your day and no one should be able to ruin it. You should be able to enjoy it.

Your birthday Is suppose to be a time to enjoy yourself.... Maybe try to spend time with your bf.... Or plan your birthday yourself..
