It is a joke. And I don’t get why Drs push it. Especially being in the medical field. It’s ok to say no and move and not make people feel bad for saying no thanks.

I’ve never gotten the flu shot and I’ve never had the flu haha my daughter is 2 and she didn’t get it last year or this year and no flu haha

everyone can do what they want with their child. i am on that same boat with ya: i don’t ever get the flu shot, bc i rarely get sick..like everrr. also i never plan to give my son the flu shot. i don’t feel it’s necessary. he never gets sick.

I was going to get mine but after reading how this years batch was pretty bad in fighting against the flu I decided just to up my vitamin c. My daughter got hers but that was before I knew anything about it. If I knew it wasn’t as effective I probable wouldn’t have let her get it. Cause it’s just something unneeded. I am thankful it haven’t hit my house

@nerdymommyplus2, we had the flu! And survived. Motrin helped my daughters fever. And no doctors trips for us

The media is making the flu a lot worse than it it. Yes it is dangerous , yes people have died from it but people die from it every year. 👌
Good hand washing skills will go a long way.
If you do catch it. Try and fight it off as naturally as possible. Do go to ER or Dr if you are experiencing complications such as dehydration, fever not going down with medication (especially children) or acting lethargic. (Words from the hospital they gave me Saturday)
Also there's a 30% chance that if you test negative for it that you do in fact have it.

@diegosmommy0213, I’m glad you’re all okay, and that you made the right decision for your family, but I’ve seen moms on here calling people names just because they didn’t get their kids the flu shot.
