Yep. I'm a light sleeper as well. It's a blessing and a curse lol. Literally everything wakes me, so it's hard to get a decent rest/nap.

@breloya, by the way congratulations on the NB! They are always so cute at that age.

@breloya, i totally understand the only way I’m able to sleep while she is up is we have a safety gate on her door so i close it when I’m laying down plus I’m a light sleeper

I'm definitely going to have to start taking naps. She will usually lay in my bed and watch t.v. when I'm beyond exhausted. I don't like sleeping when she's awake, but I can't function if I'm not getting any sleep at all at night. My daughter is the same as your oldest. IF she naps, she will not go to sleep until after midnight.

@breloya, oh wow yeah my husband works 3days on and 4days on weeks but when he’s off he works side jobs also so he usually isn’t home only to sleep. He either works 6pm-6am or 6am-6pm. I honestly don’t ask him to help much because i want to make sure he’s rested for work since he has to be completely focused when he’s working. But my kids all take naps except my oldest which will be 4 in less then a month. If she takes a nap she won’t sleep until 11-1am. But when everyone takes a nap she at lease lays in her bed and watches tv.

I stay at home too and my husband works 7 days a week. He leaves at 5 am and home by 1030 pm, so no help for me either. 😕 my toddler stopped napping months ago. It sucks.

@breloya, thank you oh no trust me i don’t take offense. All my girls slept threw the night after the first month. But it’s just getting them on a routine. It is hard it’s not easy at all. I’m a stay at home mom which is awesome i get to have that but it has its down falls because since i am one and the career my husband has its very hard for him to help me so it’s mainly me by myself doing everything. I always keep in mind especially when you feel like your going crazy is it will only be hard like this for little while. They will grow out of these stages. Does your toddler take naps??

Omg, how did you manage with having yours so close? And no, I don't mean that in a negative way. I'm legit dying right now lol. The newborn stage with a toddler is so difficult, with her not sleeping at night. 😫 You're a strong mama.
