With over 60 months of breastfeeding totally this far ...my best advance ask for help find your local breastfeeding group on Facebook get in touch with LC find your support group. Breastfeeding is a challenge in itself it can be painful to latch at first but will go away they bond you have with you child is amazing. Nipple cream was always my best friend in the very beginning.

@svbrxna it is and i didn't have the patience for it😂😂 but my baby is fed and that's all that matters in the end.💖
Ask for help while you are in the hospital. Seriously, take every opportunity they give you to meet with a lactation consultant and don’t be afraid to request more help. I didn’t know to be that proactive when my daughter was born so I just took the help when they offered it. She ended up not eating very well and I had to pump and bottle feed to get her back to birthweight. When she was 2 weeks I met with a LC a few times and they helped soooo much, she was eating like a pro in no time.
@juliaschade41, omg this sounds so complicated lol thank you

@svbrxna breastfeeding classes are great at the time, but is nothing compared to the real deal. It takes dedication, possibly long nights, you might have to pump a lot, of is painful, etc. I had to supplement with formula and pump a lot cuz my baby didn't latch on to my nipples....so I just gave up altogether. But i hope it all works out for you!
I think I’m going to take breast feeding classes before the baby is here. I’m so nervous about it. @damiensmommy1117

First and foremost, expect pain, it will hurt. It can be discouraging if you don't produce a lot at first, but keep trying! Your milk might not come in for a little while after you give birth and you'll have to supplement with formula. I'm a first time mom too, but this is what I have learned from watching other moms on this app for the past few months.
