Help!! My son had his 15 month check up last friday. I knew from the get go that the doctor was going to tell me hes underweight. He is, i already knew that. But he actually lost a pound since may. The doctor asked me if he drinks whole milk. I said no, he wont drink milk of any kind besides breastmilk. Ive tried every single kind of milk out there. Whole milk, almond milk, hemp milk, vanilla almond milk etc. The dr said he needs the milk for the calories so he suggested something that i just dont think i have the heart for. He said if he's thirsty enough hell drink it. Meaning dont give him ANYTHING else to drink at ALL. Hell get thirsty enough to not be so picky. I can just imagine it now, my baby boy crying his little butt off because hes thirsty and doesnt want what im giving him. It breaks my heart just thinking about it. Has anyone else had this problem?? Any other solutions anyone had found besides that?? Any advie is so appreciated and welcome. Thank you. :)
@mommabear2babybearliam I think Walmart may carry it online. From what I know they love breastmilk because it's so sweet. Maybe you could take regular cows milk and sweeten it with honey or something like that and slowly put less and less in over time until he's just drinking milk. Or if you wanted to pump it and let him drink it from a supply cup.
@ilovemychildren he wont drink the pedisure at all. Thank you im going to read it now.
@mommysbabies he doesnt like yogurt a lot. Here and there. Cheese he likes but gets these episodes of pickyness and i tried pediasure. He wont drink it
@pattycakemom where could i buy it? He was breastfed since birth and weaning now. Do you think he might not like it because of being so used to breast milk. Right now he only nurses if he wakes up during the night.
@mama2kyns last may he weighed almost 21 lbs and his last visit he was 19 lbs
Nido makes a chocolate baby formula and they have formula they make for babies 1 year and older. Maybe that would help?
How much did he weigh? My daughter is underweight too.
PS we are plant based so you don't need whole milk to gain weight ✌🏻
I make smoothies with Ripple milk (vegan) banana, avocado, pineapple and VegaOne protein powder... my husband and I were both skinny kids so my doctor isn't worried. Said it's genetic... is he meeting his marks and walking etc? Is he happy? You can always get a second opinion! How often is he eating and nursing? What does he weigh?
Have you tried cheese and yogurt or pedisure there are other ways to get whole milk in
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

My son threw a horrid tantrum at Target; it started in the bathroom. He was yelling and hitting me, screaming he had to potty even though he had literally just gone. After 10 minutes of him hitting me, screaming, kicking, and rolling on the floor, I yanked his pants up and had to get our quick trip done. He was kicking me and pulling my hair, so I just held onto him and whispered and tried to calm him. He's never done this before. It took 5 minutes to ...
Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
