@kelseysalazar, look into diff methods .. I had the mirena and it was amazing .. I had no mood swings .. no acne no period & no weight gain .. and it's something you don't need to remember to take everyday .

Yeah, It makes me feel real tired also like I hardly take my son outside anymore bc my body can't stand for too long or be up

It never made me gain weight but it thinned my bones to the point where I had a calcium and vit d deficiency. And I'm bipolar so it made my mental health terrible. Part of being bipolar is going thru manic and depressive phases. It would make me extremely manic or extremely depressed in these phases to the point where I was acting out of character. It got worse when I got off the shot too. Took me years to go back to normal ive been off depo since 2013.

@vanessagarcia I was horribly bitchy, had month long periods bi monthly, bad migraines, low sex drive. I can't even name them all. So glad I got that thing removed. Within a week I could tell I was beginning to be myself again. @kelseysalazar might benefit you to stop the depo and try something else.

My family is always saying that I need to get laid bc I'm always grouchy but I really think it's the depo. My best friends stopped getting her shot bc it made her body real fat & she had bad migraines & threw up a lot

I go back august 8th for my next shot but I don't think I am, I wanna see how my body feels without it.

The doctor told me the arm implant and the depo shot have the same stuff in them. I had the arm implant and it made me crazy. A long with many other issues. I got it removed and got on the pill.

I've been on it for a year & since then I've had bad acne & gained about 15lbs but I just feel different from before I got pregnant. Like it changed my body

I had that before my iud.. had it for 3 months & gained like 25 lbs .. it was horrible.. is this your first time getting it ?
