I am going to duct tape this cat to the wall. NOT REALLY!!!! But I feel better just venting.

In a seriousness, what can I do for the poor baby. Back story: the lady that gave the poor boy to us *said* he was 7 weeks old. No, he was barely 5 weeks. Not old enough to be away from mommy. The kitty is covered in fleas and just meows constantly for mommy unless he is being held. We have given him baths with Dawn dish soap. He is also going to get sprayed with vinegar water (fleas hate vinegar.) But what else can I do to rid him of the fleas until he is old enough for flea treatments?? He is about 6-7 week right now. He also needs to be at the weight limit too (which I don't remember what they are.) How can I help my Pumpkin feel better?

I am going to have to do that because this poor thing can't go another six weeks like this.

@cb958805, there is a flea treatment for kittens that young. You have to go to the vet. They give you the medicine in a pill form and it gets rid of the fleas.

Most of them have a weight limit as well. I may have to take the poor thing to the vet. His first bath, the water was dirty brownish/red from the fleas, the dirt, and the blood.

Have you looked at any flea collars?
