So I'm combination feeding half breastmilk half formula. I don't produce enough milk to strictly breast feed. Did anyone else's 2 week old get constipated? My poor baby is struggling. Should I switch her formula or is this normal
@porschedavis25 yeah try the gentlease for a while if that doesn't help try the reguline.
@noahs.mommy ok cool ill take it back tomorrow then. I heard alot about the gentlease so I'm goin to try that one... thank u alot. She to little to be goin thru that it's painful for me to watch
@porschedavis25 yes, they will give you store credit if you tell them they were a baby shower gift so you don't have the receipt
I already have about 10 cans of Similac advance from my baby shower . Do u think the store will let me exchange it? @noahs.mommy
@porschedavis25 you could also try enfamil reguline. Its supposed to regulate their system
@porschedavis25 i had a bunch of people tell me a million different things while I was dealing with trying to get back to breastfeeding and having to use formula and my son being constipated. I switched him to enfamil gentlease and he's never had a problem since then.
@eryka616 it looks like she straining. She whines so I'm guessing it hurts. Lactation consultant says she is getting use to pooing so some babies do that it's called grunting baby syndrome ( which I feel like they made up) lol but I feel so bad for her
Does she seem in pain? Cause if not then it's normal for breastfed babies to go a week with pooping and formula fed to go about 3 days
Enfamil newborn ... I wanna switch to Similac advance @mommietomylilqueen are u formula feeding
@noahs.mommy i will indeed thank u again
