This might sound really stupid but is anyone else terrified to try their babies on some proper food? My little boy is still getting pureed fruit and veg and pouches of proper meals because I'm so terrified he will choke on things like rusks or toast etc considering he's only got the one tooth coming in....anyone else feeling like this or does anyone have advice on how to start on the more solid foods?🙈
Just give it to them. They don't need loads of teeth to eat solid food. It can be nervous if and when they gag. But this isn't choking. It's a natural reflex they do as their learning to chew and swallow solids. It's great fun letting them try out different flavours & textures so look at it as a new fun experience. Begin with foods that disolve easier like rusks, toast, banana etc. If it makes you feel better. But honestly both my boys ate everything from 6months. I still offered puree alongside solids for a while as well.
My lad is 6 months he eats everything I have now witg out salt he ate chillie con carnie and rice today ( wasn't hot) and I was same but they have to bork to get used to things nothing will get stuck ul always be there my HV told me they will always bring food back up the likes off grapes lodge n won't move r food will be OK xxx
Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!
Anyone else on here not like their mother in law? 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
