Denver keeps hitting me and I really don't want to smack her hands because how am I supposed to teach her not to hit if I am hitting her hands away but then I do wan to smack her hands away because I want her to know it hurts when she hits and she shouldn't do it because of that. Any thoughts moms?

When you know she is about to hit you, get up and walk away or move her hand and turn her around. If she still decides to adter that she needs to sit down and tell her no hitting. 1 minute she sits. And again and again and again.
