@embracemthrhd2, they make them with such a huge variety of flavors inside. It's pretty much like a half moon shaped dough stuffed with mashed potatoes and cheese. Some come with spinach, mushroom, broccoli, onion, jalapeño, etc....They're not too difficult to make homemade either. What I sometimes do is mix mashed potatoes and cheese into a cooked stuffed shell, and then pour sautéed butter and onion over it, then bake at 350 for about 20 minutes. Tastes just like a pierogi.
@garber1979 man that looks good. I saw the history I guess they were a meatless entree that was famous during Lent but now they became a a side dish I might have to make that one day. enjoy your dinner!
I've been selling Pampered Chef for over 10 years, and the new products they come out with always seem to amaze me. This New RockCrock just saved me over an hour in the kitchen. I have never in my life made chicken in the microwave, let alone, for only 30 minutes.
@embracemthrhd2, they come frozen in a box that you boil until they float, then I add them to sautéed butter and onion. They are a huge favorite here in PA.
@garber1979 oohhh... i thoight jt was over easy egg on rice .... i had to google what pierogi was of course and OMG that looks real good. Did you make that yourself too???
