Anyone have tips for taking a 2.5 year old overcoming autism to the dentist for the first time? He chipped a tooth. I think he's fine, but the doctor said to get it checked out at his we'll visit. The dentist does not sedate and doctors usually have to wedge a tongue depressor in to get a peak or swab at his throat.

No sedation with this one according to the pediatrician, but I'm going to call and if they can't do anything we'll probably go somewhere else

Is there like a pill they can give to relax your child? Do they have laughing gas?
