@halliebarrow, yes mine where for 10 days and it worked I haven't had any uti or anything which my dr mentioned I could have been getting my constant utis because of the gbs she also said it could cause premature labor now I have to wait until I go into labor to connect me to an iv with antibiotics to be on the safe side

@babyabilene did you just have to take the one round of oral antibiotics then??

@halliebarrow, yes if you don't get antibiotics for the delivery it could cause the baby to catch an infection and could be dangerous during delivery as for the oral ones I took early my pregnancy she said she wanted me to take them because the infection can still affect your baby while in the uterus I was actually really glad I took those because I usto get utis all the time and haven't had one ever since.

@babyabilene thanks! Have they told you anything about it affecting the baby possibly? My dr is just leaving me in the dark about it he didnt tell me anything😞

I got tested positive through urine I got put on oral antibiotics for 10 days and will need antibiotics when in labor.

@beebaby they tested me already and it came back positive!

I'm not sure! They never gave me oral ones just during labor.

You get antibiotics in an iv during labor-thats what they did for me. It isn't harmful for you but potentially can make a baby really sick.
