I've been anemic since I was a kid and since having 2 c-sections and bleeding out a lot both times it made it a lot worse . I can get a blood transfusion if I want they asked me if I wanted one after my c-section this last time but I said no . So since I just started back working and my blood levels are really low my doctor signed off for me to only work part time which I don't mind since my baby is only 3 months .

@jeanetta25 .wow get some rest i was anemic alot thru out last pregnancy and those pills messed my stomach up

Yea I know your suppose to wait the 6 weeks but during my hospital stay the surgeons came in and asked if I wanted birthcontrol .. I said yea and they said what kind they walked me through all kinds I picked that one and they said they had doctors to insert it instead of waiting to go see my doc . So I had them do it not thinking about it being too early . My ob didn't have a problem with it at the time until that 6 week point where I was still bleeding heavily . Then she said I should have waited but it's too late for that . I'm a sever anemic and the pills don't work so they said because I haven't had a break they deff going to give me until may 1st after that I gotta go in and see what they can do . When I had my son I bleed PP for 2 weeks and started BC at 6 weeks and bled for only 4 weeks. Note to self if I have another one I WILL NOT GET BC until the 6 weeks mark !

@jeanetta25 i always heard your supposed to wait to start birth control at least 6 weeks after giving birth...with my last baby i did bleed on and off almost4 wks.with my other 2 sons was only like 2 weeks and got my 1st pd 6 wks after i know weird shit happens to your body
