So, I'm now 4 cm dilated and 80% effaced! Assuming he doesn't come on his own, I'm going in Wednesday to have my water broken! Has anybody else gone through that? What was it like and what should I expect?

I actually ended up going into labor on my own Tuesday evening! My water broke naturally, and the contractions were PAINFUL. But I have my sweet baby boy here now! ☺️💙
Painful! Not to scare you. But it hurt when they broke my water and its so uncomfortable. Cause you leak the whole time until you have the baby. And your contraction will get a lot stronger! I didn't even know I was having contractions until they broke my water. I wish you good luck! 😁 and congratulations on your little one. (If I don't get a chance to say it when you have him.)
They broke my water and then I went from 5cm to 10 cm in like two hours but I also had pitocin
