Moving to Alabama in a month to finally live as a family with my husband (military life).. we (just my son and I) are flying instead of driving since we dont have to pack much. Any tips on flying with a one year old?? All he wants to do is walk by himself all the time. Very independent. But I won't be able to even let him down on the plane 😬😬😬 SO nervous!

How am I just seeing this! Our kids are almost the same age, and we are both in Roseville! We missed out on so many play dates! 😔

I have flown with my daughter once, when she was 11months old. I went to Dollar Tree and bought like 10-15 little toys and put them in a new little bag for her. Also put some cookies and stuff like that. Then, about every 30 mins or so, id pull a new one out. Don't let him pick one himself, because they will just want to dump the whole bag out! 😅 You pick one for them. It kept her busy. A bottle for take off and for landing worked for us when it came to ear popping. And, our pediatrician said a half a dose of Tylenol before takeoff will also help. We did it, and she didn't have any issues, so, maybe it work? Maybe not? (:

Aisle seat is a must. This will give you actual opportunity to place him down with some space. Ask for the front of the row to minimize 💺 kicking. Snacks different things small he can open. Don't open all treats at once. Think compact lunch sack full of separated treats not all food. Stickers putty small things.
