I'm so stressed atm I no its not easy but since the oh started nights it's so hard I never new having someone rub ur back and tell u ur doing fine keep going would help so much. I'm in tears feeding her my nipples are so sore no matter how much I take her off she don't seem to take the full nipple and it's painful. She lost to much weight in the first week and still after being weighed every 2 days she has only put an oz and half on. iv tried to give her atamil but she brought it back up so iv tried to express got 4 oz but since trying other milk she has sicked my breast milk up. Just don't no what to do sometimes she can be on my breast for over an hour slowly sucking my milk did take a week to come in but I just don't no what to do. bit of an emotional wreck and can't get hold of my midwife or health visitor. This sucks anyone had similar issues? ??
U need some breast feeding support asap. Google what is available in your area.
yep iv already half way through my 2nd tube @suzie80 iv tried waiting for her to open wider @winterbaby95 but soon as she feels the nipple it's like she don't want to open just suck it in her gums are really hard and she bites down with them on my nipple that only adds to the pain. trying so hard to keep it up I'm just running out of ideas now seeing as the atamil dint work. She don't like the nipple shields she's bites them and can't suck them probably. I will try to squash it down and In on next feed see if that helps. I just at an end but don't want to fail my daughter x
Yeah just like @suzie80 says....rub your nipple over her top lip/nose to encourage her to open wider....then at her widest point....firmly bring her to the breast xxx
You won't get the whole areolea in Hun u need to squash the areola down like a hamburger and flick it upwards towards of roof of babies mouth. Do u have a breast feeding clinic drop in near u.? Also put lansinof on your nipples and on the breast pad and try a nipple shield for a few days too ?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
I got hold of my health visitor she's coming arnd 3 so hopfully she can take a look and help plus can find out what support there is thank you @suzie80 x
