Turns out I'm the talk of the hospital. Baby Macaulay's delivery was really traumatic. Not only did he nearly die because two knots were in his cord but I gave everyone a fright too. Got to 9cm dilated then was rushed into theater and put to sleep for an emergency section. Lost a litre of blood so had to get a big water balloon put in my stomach then my heart started packing in. So we are staying in hospital for a good while, I need my heart monitored and my section scar and the wee man is on a baby sunbed cause he's badly jaundiced. Question though..how long is it after a section that you can move about again? I'm in so much pain that its making me immobile.

I had my section at 5pm and got discharged at 2pm the next day. Started walking at 6am next morning. Stay on top of your painkillers as I wanted to skip few and then was in a lot of pain. It does get better, day 4 for me was the day I started to feel less pain. It's been 11 days since my section and I still take few paracetamol and ibuprofen few times a day. Hope you feel better soon. What happens with this baloon you have inside, do they have to take it out at some point? X

Yeah I know what ya mean, it's like ya have to like brace ya self just to get outta bed 🙈 I was soooo glad they had a hand rail in the loos looool. Give it a few days and the pain will be less :) xx

I've just got rid of my catheter, canula and mini ECD machine. I feel like a free woman but I'm very sore. I can walk about but I feel like an invalid. need help getting out of bed and stuff. I really did underestimate c-sections xxx @winterbaby95 @x-t-x

But as each day passed it got better and better, by the 3rd/4th day it wasn't as bad just sore when getting up from a seated position xx
