my son has been bad spitting up, he's on simlac sensitive. is there something i can give him to help with the spit up?
it usually takes a couple of weeks for them to get fully used to a formula, and so sometimes it can make them constipated and you might not see much of a difference before then. try bicycle kicks, taking his temperature rectally, etc. I'd give it another week with his new formula and if he's still constipated and spitting up, then switch, unless you really want to switch now. it took us two weeks with the Enfamil to notice a difference with Isabelle.
@scurlock.mommy, also my sons been on the simlac advanced and he was switched to simlac sensitive because he was constipated but it's not helped, he still isn't pooping.
@dang_dridri, i might try that formula switch again. hopefully it'll help.
@scurlock.mommy, i have a ton of enfamil gentlease but didn't know if i should use it for him. maybe it'll work like it did for your LO.
@itsjasmine, he was on simlac advanced organic and they switched him to simlac sensitive when he was a mo old too.
My son was on Similac advanced and around 1 month we had to switch him to Similac Sensitive because he was spitting up a lot. I'd call baby's pediatrician to see if that's what he needs
You can , I wouldn't wait that long if it's a lot of spit up or like @scurlock.mommy said he may need to switch formula.
my daughter was on similac sensitive and she had that issue, too. we switched her to Enfamil gentlease and she's like a brand new baby.
@dang_dridri, should i call up there and make an appointment? his next check up is nov. 22
@scurlock.mommy, oh okay, i wasn't sure. thank you!
