My husband wants to leave me and my 1 month old son. can this affect my son's mental/physical state? could this have the same side affects that an animal is seperated from its owner? my friends dog stopped eating and became sick when she went on vacation for a week. Could my husband being gone do the same thing to our baby boy? if yes, is there some article you could refer me to so I could show him and he may change his mind. I'm not ready for our family to be torn apart I am really looking for anything that can help me. 💔😭

I'm sorry your going through this, but I agree with these ladies ^^ if he wants to go, then he can. You gotta stay strong for your baby! It's easier said than done but you can do it.

Better now than later when there can be emotional bonds broken. Let him go!

The only way it would really affect him is if you let it affect you. Even that young, babies can sense and pick up on your emotions very easily... Even if you're very careful to not let it show.

Especially if you're breast feeding, your hormones will change with anger, stress, and depression so that will be present in the breast milk. Stay strong, let him go, and don't worry about it! Focus on your baby!

I'm sorry to hear that your husband wants to leave but you cannot force him or bribe him to stay. He has to want to stay. See if he is open to conversation, to talk about what went wrong & if its something that you two can work on. Maybe suggest counseling. But if the relationship has run its course & he really doesn't want to work it out then you should just let him go. Hopefully he's man enough to still be a dad although you two aren't together. Good luck

Him leaving will not affect the baby. What will affect the baby is keeping him in a home where the dad doesn't want to be. Or what else would affect him is how you react to the situation. They feel your pain quite often. If you some how make positive of the situation your baby will continue to be happy and healthy. The father doesn't matter a whole lot to them at that age. The mother is who they need.

A dog and a baby are nothing alike. If he wants to leave let him go, and just take care you and your baby.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
