My water might have broken...not entirely sure. I've never done this before! slightly freaking out

Yeah I didn't feel like I had to pee or anything. I just couldn't sleep so I started putting away dishes and then all of a sudden my underwear was quite wet. I haven't called my doctor. she told me not to worry about calling until contractions start..which they haven't. and she said they may not start until about 24hrs after water breaking (although so some they come faster)
Mine came slowly . But it didn't feel like I had to pee or anything. It just felt like a very large amount of watery discharge. Call your doc Asap and they will let you know what to do
I basically felt like a had to pee but before I could make it to the bathroom it was like it just came pouring out, I never felt a pop or anything.
I was told to lay down for a few minutes and then stand up again and if I have a gush of water then I knew my water broke.
Doctor said to wait and see if I get contractions or any pressure (haven't felt anything other than him moving). she said it could have been my water but it also could have just been discharge or the baby hitting my bladder suddenly. time will tell I guess!
