@L ucyyxoxo_, oh really! Wow that's crazy! Yea maybe I should wait! @reznor it wasn't bad. I just felt light cramping while my doctor was putting it in. After that I had a little bit of cramping for about an hour but that's it. :)

I was told the IUD works immediately, I'm considering getting one, how was the procedure ? was it bad?

Well my body feels normal. I did have sex after I had my baby. She was born two months ago but since then we been using condoms & today I got the IUD insert. So I was just wondering but thankyou 😄

I read to wait 24 hours at the minimum. then a week before having "unprotected" sex so it can take effect first.

yes 48 hours gives gour uterus a break to heal a little. they say that cause it just had something inserted :) hope that helps. but remember if you feel ready then do it just listen to your body
